Every once in a while I get an email from a man asking for my thoughts on what sort of career nursing is for a man. It seems to me that in 2020 this kind of thinking is a bit arcane. On the other hand, who am I to judge?
If you are wondering what I think, well, men in nursing is a natural fit for almost all of the same reasons it is for a woman. But being real, there may be issues in the workplace when one sex is dominant in the employee mix.

From a personal perspective, I happen to think it is a great profession for anyone. This guy to the left is a pretty good example LOL He is known as The Singing Nurse.
