I’m Conrad Lopez, founder of TravelNursing USA.
TravelnursingUSA.com was born of a need for nurses interested in travel nursing to find information on this niche area of the nursing profession.
In 2002 I was operating one of the most successful nursing jobs websites on the Internet and I kept getting 
questions about travel nursing. Nurses were emailing me, travel nursing agencies were emailing me, student nurses were emailing me. It got to the point that I simply didn’t have time to answer everyone’s questions!
I sat down and created a simple website to try to help everyone out and TravelnursingUSA.com was born. It was an immediate success. Both current travel nurses and prospective travel nurses flocked to the site-seeking general information and specific job information on travel nursing. I have continued to add both nuts and bolts information along with hopefully entertaining content.
Thousands and thousands of nurses visit my site each month and TravelnursingUSA.com has become one of the premier independent online resources for this information.
On a personal note, I am married, live in the San Francisco Bay area, travel extensively (see my blog) and genuinely enjoy the thrill of helping nurses who are spreading their wings and trying new things. I get excited every time one of them starts a new assignment in a new place.
