I travel quite a bit and love every minute of it. A lot of travel nurses, by definition, are also "on the road" quite a bit. I found a very fun tool that you may be interested in recently.It is called Hazel Mail. You can access it at www.hazelmail.com.
Ever share pictures of your travels on a travel nursing assignment with friends and family back home? Ever send postcards? With Hazelmail you can do both.
Let’s say you are on a travel nursing job in California and on one of your off days you go to the beach with your digital camera and take some photos. When you get home you simply login to your (easily created) account at Hazelmail, download to them the picture you like, and they create a postcard of that photo. You then flip it over on your screen, address it and add your message. Just like a regular postcard. Then for $1.50 they create a physical (as in REAL) postcard and mail it anywhere in the world.
This is a really fun tool that I’ve been using in my travels for a few months and my friends and family love getting them. It dawned on me that my friends in the travel nursing arena might just find it a cool way to both keep in touch and share your adventure with the troops back home.

I love HazelMail and so do my friends! My parents sent me on during their trip to Alaska! I used them as invites to a birthday party I had. Everyone loved receiving them! I plan on using them for holiday cards this year.
