I get a lot of questions along the line of “…can I bring…?”
One of the problems with being so familiar with a subject is that you forget what others do NOT know and what their assumptions are. What I mean by that I guess is that I assume most of you out there know the basics and I forget you may not know just how flexible and wonderful this option can be for you.
I met a lady in San Jose, California the other day. She is a travel nurse. She is a single mother of both a teenager and a very young child. (I am hoping to profile her for you later in the year).
To make a long story short…she took a travel assignment in San Jose because #1-her life at home allowed for it, #2-her sister was pregnant and she wanted to be here to help/share that experience, and #3-she got a great assignment, renewed it and probably will do that again once or twice.
Her retired father came along for many of the same reasons and of course she brought both of her kids.
Result? She is here with her teenager and her pre-school child, Dad (Grampa) is here too, helping BOTH of his daughters, and the whole family is going to be involved in the happy event of adding another family member.
How cool is THAT?
God bless travel nursing, lol!!!
